This is, as the name suggests, a webring for people I met in the psych ward (and, more specifically, live-in psych treatment over a particular set of months). This is a closed ring; if you did not meet me in psychiatric treatment, you can't be in the ring. Sorry!
I actually had this idea while I was still in treatment. I managed to convince a bunch of people I met and cared about to make websites so we could all express ourselves and stay in touch on the outside. (A couple of people already had pages, but not many.)
